i went from surviving to thriving

and you can too!

My own healing journey…

How did I get here? Curious about my journey and wondering how my experiences, not just my education, but in personal life might lead to me guiding you in your journey? Take a peek below and get to know me. Or skip to the bottom for the fun stuff!

How it all started

Uncovering parts of ourselves shifts us out of a mode of survival to truly thriving.

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and two children, plus one adorable pup named Prue (she sometimes pops into my sessions 😊). You’ll find me taking strolls through the neighborhood, chasing after my kiddos of course, or sitting on my deck admiring the trees, deer, and turkey’s that visit my backyard. It is beautiful and green with so many magnificent trees; I am grateful to have a home here with my amazing family doing the things I love.

But, my journey up until this point in my life was a struggle! From high school through my 20’s I faced anxiety + depression. Somehow I was still high achieving, hardworking, and committed to developing my career and building my life—despite all the mental and physical struggles I was experiencing. I spent a decade engaging in ALL forms of therapy, I was on a mission to “fix” myself and understand why my mind was unwell, and my body was ill (autoimmune disease). I believed there was something inherently wrong with me…

Until I was given a piece of the puzzle, so to speak, from my family about my early childhood experiences. I was finally unearthing and integrating pieces of the puzzle that helped me better understand myself and my own body/mind. All of a sudden I shifted from “what is wrong with me” to “what happened to me.” Integrating this “puzzle piece” was a whole life reckoning. While it unraveled me, it truly offered me an opportunity to understand myself for the first time and begin to create a connected, boundaried, and more authentic life.

Let me be your guide…

On your journey towards living a more free and connected life. Unearthing that powerful woman and finding the courage to create the life of your dreams; you make the rules.

I am excited to share what I’ve learned, to help you understand yourself deeply, set those boundaries, connect with others, and prioritize your own needs; truly becoming that badass self that is living the most beautiful life!
